The School is as much shaped by the students who have passed through these halls in prior years as the laughter and friendship which grace them today. Our alumni are scientists, artists, software engineers, parents, world travelers, physicians, lawyers, writers, professors and teachers, and so much more than that, they are Raiders.
Each year we recognize an alumnus for outstanding achievement in their field. The winners are nominated by fellow alums, and are recognized during Founders' Week each January as that year's Distinguished Alumnus. Past recipients have included a MacArthur Fellow, a U.S. Attorney, and a ground-breaking educator. Distinguished alumni are welcomed back to campus and hold an assembly for students where they have the time to discuss how they became who they are today and what role North Cross played in how they got there. It's one thing to believe a student will accomplish great things, but it's another to show them they can. On that same note, each year at Commencement, fellow alumni elect a recipient for the Alumni Service Award, which recognizes contributions from an alumnus to the school.
